Boozhoo, and welcome

Boozhoo. I'm Marlon Gardner, an Anishinaabe educator and school principal from Treaty #3, and the founder of Rez Nation Education Consulting. Hockey and sport have always been part of my path. I played at Neumann University, went on to play professionally, and have won championships along the way, including with Eagle Lake. Sport taught me teamwork, discipline, and how much belonging matters to young people.

Today I bring that same spirit to education. I'm committed to First Nation student success, to our culture, and to honouring our relationships as treaty people. My hope is to help First Nation schools build learning that reflects who our students are and where they come from.
